Workshop #1 – Reading the Freeze:
Practical Imaging Interpretation After Breast Cancer Cryoablation

This practical, case-based workshop will focus on the how to read post-cryoablation images in the breast. Attendees will learn how to recognize expected post-treatment findings, evaluate tissue evolution over time, and identify findings that may require closer assessment. The session will provide practical guidance on post-cryoablation imaging interpretation across ultrasound, mammography, CEM, and MRI.

Key topics include:

• Expected post-cryoablation imaging findings and appearance of the ablation zone 
• Differentiating normal post-treatment changes from suspicious or indeterminate findings 
• Follow-up imaging strategy, reporting considerations, and multidisciplinary communication 
• Case-based discussion informed by completed, ongoing, and upcoming ProSense® breast cryoablation studies 

Workshop #2 – From Freeze to Future:
Cryoablation as a New Frontier in De-Escalated Breast Cancer Care 

This workshop will explore breast cancer cryoablation as a minimally invasive, image-guided local treatment option within the broader movement toward de-escalated breast cancer care.

The session will introduce ProSense® Cryoablation, review its FDA-authorized indication for selected low-risk patients, and discuss how breast imaging specialists can support patient selection, treatment planning, procedural guidance, and post-procedure follow-up. 

Key topics include:

• Clinical rationale for treatment de-escalation in biologically low-risk breast cancer and where cryoablation fits within image-guided local treatment options 
• ProSense® Cryoablation: liquid nitrogen technology, minimally invasive tumor destruction, and FDA-cleared indication for selected patients aged 70 years and older with tumors ≤1.5 cm treated with adjuvant endocrine therapy 
• Patient and lesion selection, procedural planning, probe placement, ice-ball monitoring, and treatment-margin considerations 
• Post-cryoablation imaging, follow-up strategy, workflow considerations, and case-based discussion of practical clinical decision points
